saw Mr Whatnot become his first play to transfer to the West End. It received dreadful reviews and closed after just three weeks at the New Arts Theatre, London.

successfully applied for a job at the BBC as a Radio Drama Producer in Leeds following the failure of Mr Whatnot.

acted professionally on stage for the final time in Two For The Seesaw at Rotherham Civic Theatre opposite Heather Stoney.
